The new staking pool — what, where, and how
The newest development
We are very happy with our newest development update — our new staking pool! The community has given us feedback regarding high staking, unstaking, and harvesting fees. We have listened to the community and optimized the staking contract! It now has way lower gas fees. Below are some examples of interactions with the old contract vs the new contract.

Migrating to the new pool: what and how
The Ghospers staking page now shows a migration button. This migration will automatically harvest any rewards you have and move your staked GHSP from the old pool (V1) to the new pool (V2). Your harvested rewards will be transferred to your wallet. During this migration, you will not pay an unstaking or harvesting fee. The only fees you will pay are the Network fees to migrate. You only need to press the “Migrate” button and confirm the Metamask txns. More details on how-to are below.
What about the old pool (V1)
The rewards have been withdrawn from the old pool and have been deposited to the new pool. This means you will not earn any rewards if you are staking in the old pool. The more people that will migrate their GHSP and stake in the new pool the lower the APY in the new pool, as the rewards are shared between all stakers.
How to migrate to the new pool (V2)
Step 1
Open the Ghospers staking page. Here you can see your staked amount and the rewards in the old pool (V1)
Note. If the migrate button and previous pool info do not show up you need to perform a hard refresh on the web page.
Step 2
Click the “Migrate” button to start the migration process.
Step 3
Confirm staking from the old pool by pressing the “Confirm” button in the MetaMask wallet pop-up.
Step 4
Confirm harvesting from the old pool by pressing the “Confirm” button in the MetaMask wallet pop-up.
Step 5
Approve to stake your GHSP tokens in the new pool by pressing the “Confirm” button in the MetaMask wallet pop-up.
Step 6
Confirm staking your GHSP tokens in the new pool by pressing the “Confirm” button in the MetaMask wallet pop-up.
Step 7
Now your stakes migrated from the old pool to the new pool.
Step 8
Because the rewards are calculated per second, there might be leftover rewards that still need to be harvested, which accumulated from the time of sending the unstake request and the time the unstake txn was approved. You can use the migrate button to harvest them again.
Step 9
If you don’t have any funds in the old pool, clicking the Migrate button will show an error message.
You have now successfully migrated to the new staking pool — V2!
